Day Of...

The ceremony begins at 7:00 p.m.

If you’ll be driving from El Paso, please keep in mind it’s Black Friday, and traffic at the international bridge into Juárez can be heavier than usual. To ensure you arrive relaxed and on time, we suggest planning for at least one extra hour to cross and travel.

If you’re staying in Juárez, you can check in at the hotel beforehand and take advantage of the shuttle service to the venue.

Traveling
from
El Paso
to
Juárez

🚗 Driving (Easiest & Most Direct)
We recommend driving into Juárez through the Bridge of the Americas (Puente Libre). This bridge is free, located at 3600 E. Paisano, and close to the area where we’ll be. You can cross at any bridge, but Puente Libre is the most convenient.
Whether you drive from home or fly into El Paso and rent a car, this is the ideal way to get here.
Passenger vehicle lanes are open 24 hours, seven days a week.

🚶‍♂️Uber (Walk Across Method)
From El Paso, take an Uber to the international bridge, walk into Mexico, and then request another Uber to the hotel or venue once you’re in Juárez.
This method saves time since there’s usually no line going from El Paso to Juárez or returning, and thousands of people use this route daily.

🚌 Shuttle into Juárez
From the airport, you can schedule a shuttle to bring you into Juárez and back.
Find vetted providers on the El Paso International Airport website.
Many can also pick you up from your home or lodging. Example: Chuma’s Tours offers round-trip service between El Paso and Juárez.

🛫 Fly into Juárez (Usually with a Layover)
Keep in mind: Mexico doesn’t check U.S. passports when crossing into Juárez by road, but if you fly from the U.S., you’ll need a valid passport.

Visiting Cd. Juárez

What to Do in Cd. Juárez

We’re so excited you’re coming! Here are a few of our favorites

Cd. Juárez is a friendly, immigrant-built border city where people are quick to lend a hand and conversations spill out of cafés. It proudly claims the best burritos (many say they began here), the margarita (ask about the Kentucky Club!), and the music of hometown legend Juan Gabriel. You’ll still hear his songs everywhere. We’ve curated a short list of go-to spots so you can eat well, explore easily, and feel at home fast.

This list is only a starting point. Juárez is full of events, markets, and hidden gems, so follow your curiosity and find your own adventure, even if it isn’t on this list.
